Beamish's Travel

A single mother of three grown children, I decided I had spent enough time taking everyone else to the airport and waving goodbye. It was time for me to be a part of the action. I had looked at another home based travel business years ago, but they didn't have the training nor the positioning in the market that YTB has. Now I can help friends and family book travel and they know they are getting the best deal I can find. I love to share this fabulous opportunity with people who are looking for something special, just like I was, and I can travel also. The tax write offs that come from owning my own business are terrific!

After closing my 'brick and mortar' business early in 2007, I was a little worried about going to work for someone else. Now I can work and still be home here in California with my aging mother, be home on Tom's days off, and play with my cats and my dog. I'd say that's pretty good. The only thing that would have made it more perfect is if I was a person that traveled alot already. I would be saving so much money traveling thru my own business and getting all the benefits a travel agent does!
